Privacy policy

Effective date: May 1, 2026

Short version. Synapop Games does not ask for your name, email, or any account information. Our games send anonymous gameplay and device statistics to our own servers so we can improve performance and difficulty. You can turn this off at any time in the in-game settings. We do not sell or share data with advertisers or third-party analytics providers.

Synapop Games is a studio that develops mobile puzzle games. This policy describes how information is handled when you play any of our games on iOS or Android. Where this policy says "we" or "our," we mean Synapop Games.

Information we collect

Our games collect the following non-personal information to improve performance, balance difficulty, and fix bugs:

This data is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally.

How this data is handled

Anonymous gameplay, device, and crash data is sent to our analytics service at api.synapop.io, which is operated by Synapop Games on infrastructure we control. We use this data only to improve our games. We do not sell it. We do not share it with advertising networks or third-party analytics providers.

Game progress (such as your current level, completion stars, and settings) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Data retention

Anonymous event data is retained on our servers for up to 24 months and then deleted or aggregated into non-reversible summary statistics. Crash reports are retained for up to 12 months. Because the data is anonymous and not tied to a personal account, individual records cannot be located or deleted on request.

IP addresses

Like any website or online service, our servers receive your IP address as part of normal network routing. We do not store IP addresses alongside event data. IP addresses appear only in transient web-server and security logs (used to block abuse) and are discarded within 30 days.

Settings and preference changes

When you change a setting (sound, vibration, theme, colorblind mode, or analytics sharing), we record one small event capturing the change. This includes the moment you turn analytics sharing off: we record one final event documenting your opt-out so we can understand how many players prefer not to share data. After that final event, no further data is collected until you re-enable sharing.

How to opt out

You can disable analytics at any time. In-game, open Settings and turn off the Send anonymous analytics toggle. We record one final event capturing the toggle change (see "Settings and preference changes" above), then collect nothing further until you re-enable sharing. Crash reports follow the same toggle.

Device verification (iOS)

On iOS, our games use Apple's App Attest service to confirm that incoming events come from a genuine, unmodified copy of our app. App Attest produces a cryptographic key on your device and an attestation certificate signed by Apple. We send only this attestation certificate (no personal data, no device identifier) so that our servers can reject fake or tampered submissions. App Attest is provided by Apple as part of iOS and is documented in Apple's developer materials.

Information we do not collect

Our games do not collect any personally identifiable information (PII). This includes, but is not limited to: names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, precise location, photos, contacts, calendar entries, microphone or camera input, advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android), and contents of other apps.

Our games contain no user accounts, no login, no social-network sign-in, no chat, no in-app purchases, and no third-party advertising SDKs.

Children's privacy

Our games are suitable for general audiences and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because there are no accounts, no chat, and no submission of personal information, the data we collect is anonymous regardless of the player's age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as our games evolve. When we make changes, we update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted in-game in the next update following the change.
